Can’t get enough of pink at the moment. Been trawling eBay for vintage finds too. Its such a classic, pretty but unique colour to wear. Feels like spring yet can still be snuggly for the cold. These are my current finds.

I was super excited when invited to the #ArcadiaAW15 Press Event a couple of weeks ago. Arcadia house many of my longtime favourite high street brands; Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, Burtons, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, BHS & Evans.
I have to say out of all the collections Topshop and Topman got it right up my street. The seventies is officially here to stay for AW15 (hoorrrrraaaaaaaay she says) and there really are some beautiful pieces in store. First up on my picks is from Topshop.
I could have actually walked out with every single piece under my arm – there was such a feast of prints, fabrics and styles that have completely embraced the 70’s. I can’t wait for this all to drop in the stores in a few months. Autumn actually can’t come too soon!
I love the SS15 Haute Couture Christian Dior collection thats just landed. Its so girly, fun and wearable having had a huge influence from the 60’s trends. Those dresses have featured several times in many of the shoots I’ve worked on. Most recently the MINI campaign I styled, you can see this blog post here.
The thing I most love about this collection, is that you can put your own version of it together, either from vintage items you may find on the likes of eBay, Etsy or through rummaging through vintage stores or charity shops but also from my favourite – the high street. What’s fun is the layering you can create, that you don’t need to wait for Spring/Summer 2015, you can actually wear it now.
Have fun with it!
I never tire of these street style montages by Photographer’s Ari Versluis and Ellie Uyttenbroek. The fashion of the human species naturally fascinates me and how we all aspire to be individuals. I can remember the first time I came across an exhibition of The Exactitudes some 5 or 6 years ago in Selfridges where giant prints were laid out portraying every day characters as clones of one another.
Check out Exactitudes here.
